Due to the low temperatures in Washington, the ceremony will take place not outdoors as usual, but inside the Capitol Rotunda. The last time this occurred was in 1985 during Ronald Reagan's inauguration.
At 9:30 AM local time, musical performances and welcoming speeches will commence on the West Lawn of the Capitol. The highlight will be the swearing-in of Donald Trump and Vice President Jay D. Vance, along with the president's inaugural address, which is set to begin at noon local time (7:00 PM Kyiv time).
Following this, Trump will sign key documents in the presidential room and then attend a luncheon with members of Congress. The formal proceedings will conclude with a parade along Pennsylvania Avenue, featuring military units and artistic groups. The evening will wrap up with three official balls, where Trump will deliver speeches. At each event, the 47th president of the United States will address the guests, emphasizing key priorities.
It is already known that around 200,000 guests will be in attendance, including not only Trump supporters but also his opponents. Additionally, prominent politicians such as Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, Barack Obama, and George Bush have decided to attend the ceremony. Celebrities are also part of this historic moment, with country singer Carrie Underwood and the disco group The Village People, who previously supported Trump, set to perform.
