Magnetic storms that were predicted for the end of this week are reflected in the geomagnetic fluctuation chart. Currently, Earth is experiencing a 5-point magnetic storm. It is likely caused by solar wind emanating from a hole in the sun's atmosphere.

According to Meteoagent, which bases its forecasts on satellite systems from NOAA, TESIS, and international meteorological laboratories worldwide, a strong magnetic storm with a rating of 5 is expected to persist on January 31. A storm of this intensity is also forecasted for Saturday, February 1.

However, by Sunday, February 2, meteorologists warn of a decrease in the magnetic storm's intensity to 4 points, which corresponds to an "orange" level.

It is important to note that a magnetic storm is a disturbance of the Earth's geomagnetic field, which can last from an hour to an entire day. During such events, weather-sensitive individuals may experience a decline in their well-being, and if the magnetic storm is severe, electronic devices may function erratically.

Earlier, Telegrapht reported that Ukraine will be hit by severe frosts in February, with temperatures in some areas dropping to -21 degrees.
