A prolonged magnetic storm continues to rage on our planet. It may come to an end in the coming days.
The geomagnetic storm has been active on Earth for quite some time, and its intensity has primarily reached 6 points. As of February 19, its intensity remains at 6 points, according to data from the Meteoagent website, which bases its forecasts on satellite systems from NOAA, TESIS, and scientific international meteorological laboratories worldwide.
By Thursday, February 20, solar activity is expected to decrease to a "green" level. No geomagnetic storms are anticipated during Friday to Sunday, February 21-23.
It's worth noting that a magnetic storm is a disturbance of the Earth's geomagnetic field, which can last from an hour to an entire day. During such events, weather-sensitive individuals may experience a decline in well-being, and if the magnetic storm is severe, electronic devices may experience malfunctions.
