Although solar flares continue to occur on the Sun, they currently have no impact on our planet. Astrophysicists indicate that solar activity is rapidly declining, but this situation is expected to be temporary.
After nearly continuous flares over the past 10 months, the Sun is quickly reducing its activity. It has reached a minimum over the last 48 hours, with flare intensity not exceeding category C, as reported by scientists from the space weather research site Spaceweather.
In summary, astrophysicists warn that this quiet period will not last long, and flares may resume soon.
At the same time, scientists from the site Meteoagent are confident that a one-day magnetic storm of level 5 is expected this week.
Currently, on October 22, a powerful geomagnetic storm of level 5 is raging on our planet. By the next day, October 23, its strength will drop to the "green" level of 3. Low solar activity is projected to last until the end of the week.
As a reminder, earlier "Telegraph" reported on what the weather in Ukraine will be like at the end of October.
