This week, the Earth will experience a magnetic storm. In some areas, its intensity reached 6 points, but it has now decreased to 5 points. According to astrophysicists, it is expected to weaken even further over the weekend.
According to data from the website Meteoagent, which bases its forecast on satellite systems from NOAA, TESIS, and international scientific meteorological laboratories worldwide, a strong magnetic storm of 5 points is ongoing on Friday, February 14. The following day, its intensity is expected to drop to 4 points. An "orange" geomagnetic storm is also forecast for February 16.
It is important to remember that a magnetic storm is a disturbance in the Earth's geomagnetic field that can last from an hour to a whole day. During this time, weather-sensitive individuals may experience a deterioration in their well-being, and if the magnetic storm is strong, electronic devices may function erratically.
Previously, "Telegraph" reported that severe frosts would hit some regions of Ukraine. Meteorologists from Ventusky predict that temperatures in some areas will reach around -20 degrees in the morning.
