Солнечное пятно временно успокоилось, но синоптики предостерегают о возможных магнитных бурях.

Sunspot 3981, which has produced over 20 strong flares since the beginning of the week, has decided to take a brief pause. However, its activity resumed on Friday, February 7. Scientists predict that the Earth will experience a moderate geomagnetic storm by the end of this week.

This week, sunspot 3981 triggered more than 20 M-class solar flares, including two that nearly reached the X-category, the most intense level. There is a possibility that its activity will remain high on February 7, according to the space weather research resource Spaceweather.

Meanwhile, specialists from the site Meteoagent, which bases its forecasts on satellite systems from NOAA, TESIS, and international meteorological laboratories worldwide, report that on Friday, January 7, a moderate geomagnetic storm rated at 4 will persist. The following day, February 8, it will fade from the fluctuation chart.

On Sunday, geomagnetic "quiet" is also forecasted.

Earlier, "Telegraph" reported on what weather to expect on February 7 in the five largest cities. Meteorologists warn of frosts on that day.
