A magnetic storm is on the way! Scientists warn of a potential strong solar flare approaching.

The sunspot continues to produce flares, and scientists predict that one of these strong explosions will occur soon. It will be the largest of all that have happened. During this time, Earth will not be affected by a geomagnetic storm.

Since the beginning of the week, the hyperactive sunspot 3981 has triggered 19 M-class solar flares. This was reported by scientists from the space weather research site Spaceweather.

At the same time, NOAA forecasters indicate that on February 5, there is a 20% chance that the sunspot could produce an X-flare. This would be the most powerful among previous explosions.

However, according to the forecast from scientists at Meteoagent, who base their predictions on NOAA satellite systems, TESIS, and international meteorological laboratories worldwide, there are currently no geomagnetic storms at "orange" or "red" levels on February 5.

Geomagnetic "quiet" is expected to last until the end of this week.

Recall that earlier "Telegraph" reported that the winter which arrived in Ukraine in February may soon come to an end. Forecasters predict a decrease in frosts in the middle of this month.
